Situated just off the shoreline of serene Bald Mountain Lake is the lovely “Cottage Walk on Bald Mountain Lake”. This charming and spacious cottage is adjacent to the larger “Bald Mountain Lake Lodge”, and is a perfect companion when two homes are necessary for much larger groups. It’s located in the Rumbling Bald Resort and has full use of resort amenities.
“Cottage Walk…” is a 3 bedroom, 2-½-bath cottage with a small screen porch, a spacious covered deck overlooking the lake, and a gracious family room. The Master Bedroom is located on the main level and accommodates a King Bed, private bath with double vanity and a large double shower. The ample kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table sits in a bay window offering pretty views of the lake. The living area is sunken and offers a beautiful old stone fireplace as its centerpiece. The sofa converts to a bed for additional sleeping. Just off the kitchen is a half bath, and a laundry room.
From the living room, steps lead to the lower level family room which features ample seating to view the TV, as well as a game table. The large section converts to sleeping. One full bath with a tub/shower combination is located just off the family room as are the two guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has a set of twins.
Just off this lower level is a concrete patio and screen porch. Just a few steps from the patio is an outdoor picnic table and onto the lakefront, which features a large dock for sunning, swimming or fishing. There is a canoe for your use on the lake. A small outdoor fire pit tops off this pretty location.
Don’t forget that all the amenities of the resort are available for your use, which includes pools, private beach on Lake Lure, tennis, golf and many other recreation amenities. “Cottage Walk” is about a 5-minute drive from the private amenities at the resort.
