For anyone who likes privacy, you will love this log cabin located on approx. 74 beautiful mountain acres. Spacious and tucked back in the woods approximately 3 miles off the main highway, Saluda Falls offers guests a true, hand-built "log cabin in the woods".
Beside the home, there is a nice pond, just perfect for swimming, relaxing, or quiet contemplation.
A rushing stream with waterfall is just out the back of the cabin only a step away from the screened porch. Just a short 50 yard walk through the woods is a great "swimming hole" in the mountain stream. Guests can see the stream from the open deck, the covered porch, or the screened porch, and all who visit love the sounds of the rushing water.
The cabin is full of rustic charm with a stone fireplace, a loft, and 3 very comfortable bedrooms, and 1 ½ baths. The kitchen is small & compact, but is fully equipped. There is a small dining table and also tables on the screened porch. A large deck wraps around ½ of the cabin and connects with the screened porch.
Due to the remoteness of the location, we recommend a vehicle with higher ground clearance - 4 x 4 is not needed, but vehicles with lower clearance may experience difficulty with the approach road.
