Nestled between the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and on the eastern shore of Lake Lure sits Loose Moose Lodge. National Geographic has called Lake Lure one of the most beautiful man-made lakes in the world. Located on the
main channel of Lake Lure, Loose Moose Lodge enjoys majestic views of Buffalo Mountain Ridge towering over the Lake and spectacular sunset views of Hickory Nut Gorge, which leads to Chimney Rock. Loose Moose Lodge provides spacious, unpretentious accommodations
with all the modern conveniences of home. Parking for 2 cars is provided at the Lodge’s main level. The great room offers expansive windows overlooking the lake and Buffalo Mountain Ridge. Comfortable seating, a television and sound system are provided. Lakeside
and adjacent to the great room is a small deck for enjoying the views and a screened porch with a picnic table. At the far end of the great room, a large circular dining table sits adjacent a rock fireplace and just off the kitchen. The kitchen is cozy yet
well equipped for any occasion. Each of the Lodges’ bedrooms is unique, privately situated and very comfortably furnished. On the main level there is a master bedroom with a king bed and private full bath. The second bedroom has two twins and the third has
a queen bed, there is a connecting full bath between the two bedrooms. Downstairs sports a billiards/ping pong table, another television and comfortable seating. Off the recreation room is a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer. The bedroom on this
level has a king bed and a twin with a twin trundle. Outside the recreation room is a large deck overlooking the lake and mountain views. On that same level is a detached screen porch with comfortable log crafted furnishings, great for morning breakfast and/or
evening gatherings. At the waterfront is a large deck atop the boathouse, excellent for relaxing and enjoying the evening sunset. Just below the boat house deck is another spacious deck that provides a wonderful area for sunbathing and swimming. The Lodge
is offered exclusively to families or corporate groups. Absolutely no house parties are permitted. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles only. Loose Moose now has a sister property right next door call Aquene. **June through August-Home is available only for weekly
