A three story Arts and Crafts style home built on the waters edge. A curved concrete drive takes you to the entry door of this lovely home. The spacious living area which connects to the, large and elegant kitchen as well as the dining area is the focal point of the main entry level. The kitchen has granite counter tops, a gas cook top, double ovens, wine refrigerator and an extra large fridge. The dining table can accommodate ten, plus four bar stools at the kitchen counter. The living room features a large leather sofa, club chairs, a gas log fireplace, television with DVD/VCR and a stereo. Entry to the covered deck overlooking the lake cove is accessed from the great room. There is one bedroom on the main level with a queen bed which shares access to the full bath with shower, from the common hall. There is also a large laundry room on this level, which accommodates an extra ice maker as well.
The upper level has the master retreat complete with a king bed, a large private bath which has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. This suite has private access to a large covered porch which overlooks the lake. The second bedroom is a spacious guest retreat, complete with two double beds and games galore. This is a perfect room for the teens or single members of your group. A full bath with a shower is located off this guest room.
Two of the three master suites are on the lower level. This first has a king bed and features a full wet bar, a large private bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. This suite also has a private covered porch which overlooks the lake. The second master suite features a queen bed with a private full bath. This suite has a private entry to the stone terrace where the hot tub is located. A stepping path from the hot tub terrace, leads to the sixth bedroom, which has a separate outside entrance. There is also a full laundry with washer and dryer located on this lower level.
The sixth bedroom has a bunk bed, a full bath with a tub/shower combination and the only entrance to this room is from the exterior, about halfway from hot tub terrace and the lakefront. This bedroom also accommodates the ping-pong table and is a convenient kid’s room or private retreat for singles.
The waterfront provides for a small sandy beach which is great for kids to ease into the water. A long boardwalk winds around the shore and is connected on the far end to another lakeside rental, "Laurel Point". Book both for large family gatherings on the lake! Use of a pontoon boat is included in the rental of A LAKE ESCAPE. Boating restrictions and regulations apply and use is subject to a short boating safety and operation course conducted at the home by our BOAT MASTER. Be sure and read the 2010 Boat Policies
Manager's comments: This is one of the nicest family homes we offer. The layout is terrific for several families as private areas are available on all three floors; even the covered porches are private. The furnishings and décor are pretty and the kitchen is one of our favorites. The owner has supplied a lot of amenities; hot tub, game tables and boat. There are steps to the waterfront, but it is gradual and once you get there, the beach area and amenities are so comfortable, you can spend the whole day just lounging!
