  Only two suggestions:
  
  1. Boathouse should have padlock on door to prevent small children from getting in
  
  2. You may need to treat for ants (hopefully something that won't harm fish when it runs into the water!) -- they were all over the place (deck, tables, chairs).
  
  3. Everything about our stay - from dealing with LCV Rentals personnel to actually being there was easy, smooth & just perfect. Thank you for helping us have wonderful, memorable summer vacation!

  Lazy Days is a nice updated traditional lake cottage. The interior is completely updated and very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and cooking ware so that you can have nice family meals. Enjoyed watching and participating in all the skiing and tubing from the front sun room and dock. The dock area needs some maintenance (gate hinges gone or need replacement). Enjoyed the kayaks but they are a bit difficult to get in and out of gracefully with the current water level!

  We greatly enjoyed our stay. You might think about stocking some extra light bulbs, getting rid of some of the floaty toys that no longer hold air, repairing the hinges on the dock gate, and getting at least one of the boathouse overhead doors freed up - but otherwise the property was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed sitting in the afternoon shade on the dock. It would have been useful to know ahead of time that access required so many stairs - perhaps a picture taken from the lake side including the stairs.

  Lake Lure is just beautiful. The Lazy Days rental certainly lives up to its name. The kids and I enjoyed a wonderful week filled with swimming, kayak exploring, and great family fun.

  Lazy Days was a wonderful vacation home for my family. Close to grocery shopping, Chimney Rock, restaurants, etc. Beautiful neighborhood for walking. We kayaked and swam every day and toured the Biltmore Estate one day. One of the most relaxing vacations my family has ever taken. The views are so beautiful.

  Each day started with a beautiful sunrise across the lake. After sampling the food at several local restaurants we worked off those extra calories by walking in the quiet neighborhood and kayaking, followed by a very relaxing float in the lake. The hot tub was a perfect ending to each day. We also visited Chimney Rock Park and enjoyed the Lake Lure boat tour.

  Great for Adults!

  The property was wonderful for Adults. Children would have a problem due to the lack of water access. There is only one ladder, in need of work, off the end of the dock. There needs to be another ladder added to the shallower part of the dock so that kids can access. Also, the screened in porch is not a sitting area, the hot tub takes up most of that room. Other than that, it was an immaculate place that had everything you would need to have a great vacation!

  We had a great time at Lazy Days. Our church group found the property to be perfect for our mini-retreat. The accomodations were comfortable, and the main room was perfect for all of us to meet together. Everything we needed to cook our own meals was there in the kitchen, which saved us a lot of money on feeding the group. We did experience one major drawback. The propane tank whuch supplies the house became empty during our time there. As a resuly, we had no heat or hot water during some of the coldest days of the year. When we tried to call the emergency maintenance number (it was the weekend & a holiday to boot), no one ever called back. This was a real dampner on our time. However, since our church group was primarily comprised of single young adults, we were able to treat it as an adventure. Overall, we did enjoy the cabin, and would love to return there next year; hopefully with hot water and heat!
