  Our Family Mountain Retreat. We had a wonderful time on the resort. Pleanty of R & R at WW. Enjoyed the back deck & grill in the evenings & mornings w/ coffee. Not to far away from home but far enough to get away. Hope to stay again next year.

  We very pleased overall with our stay at Whisper Woods in Rumbling Bald. We especially enjoyed the family atmosphere of all of the amenities offered at Rumbling Bald. Our children truly enjoyed the outdoor pool and putt-putt course. The cabin was nice and it was a plus having a gas grill on the back porch to allow us to grill out and enjoy the natural setting.

  All you need is your camera, appetite, (Point of View is # 1!)sweater, and a great attitude! Very peaceful and restful cabin!!!

  The only problem I had was having to check out at 10 AM. Most places give you until 11:00 AM.
  
  We saw several deer from the back deck. This was very exciting and unexpected.

  wonderful time but a map of local things would be helpful. walmart etc. guard was not much help at directions Lol hope you fixed some door locks that don't work

  We stayed during July 4th week and had a wonderful time. All of us so enjoyed the resort and the house was everything we had hoped for. We seen wild animals from the deck, had family meals with a veiw of the mountains. Can't wait to book again.

  My friends and I rented Whisper Woods over Columbus Day weekend and had a fabulous time! The vacation home is generously stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and peaceful back deck. Our property manager was extremely friendly and helpful with our check in process. I highly recommend Lake Country Vacation Rentals!
